Location: 127 Public Square, Cleveland Ohio Job Summary The Consumer Bank Product Manager II leads a team responsible for the strategy, development, and performance of consumer banking products. This role is pivotal in driving profitability while maintaining a moderate risk profile. Essential Functions Lead a team in the design, development, and management of consumer banking products and services. Oversee product acquisition strategies, credit decisioning processes, and portfolio performance metrics. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance product offerings and service delivery. Utilize industry research, competitive intelligence, and data insights to identify and target profitable client segments. Identify and resolve product and system inefficiencies that impact client acquisition and relationship deepening. Manage vendor relationships to support product delivery and innovation. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve performance goals and foster professional growth. Education
Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required) Work Experience 7+ years of experience in financial services or a comparable industry. (required) 7+ years in product management, community development, marketing, or communications, with a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management. (preferred) Licenses and Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI (preferred) Skills Applying long-term, big-picture thinking to anticipate market shifts, identify opportunities, and align product initiatives with business strategy. Analyzing complex challenges and developing effective, data-driven solutions that enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. Applying logical reasoning and analytical skills to evaluate product performance, assess trade-offs, and support sound decision-making. Managing a suite of products by prioritizing investments, balancing risk and return, and aligning with strategic goals. Driving continuous improvement and introducing new ideas to enhance product offerings, customer value, and competitive advantage. Ensuring that product features, services, and enhancements are closely aligned with evolving customer expectations and behaviors. Streamlining processes, reducing waste, and improving workflows to enhance product delivery, scalability, and profitability. Collaborating with marketing teams to position products effectively, develop go-to-market strategies, and support customer acquisition and engagement.
