Job Description
In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you'll do
Design, execute, automate, and deploy long running, scale, reliability, and security testcases and report the results. Utilize AI for complete SDLC. Expert in building AI Skills. Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and generative platforms to streamline daily workflows, analyze data, and accelerate project delivery Provide guidance to functional QA teams, manage, and expand relationships with other QA partners on software systems test and automation. Review and evaluate designs and provide tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk. Own the automation strategy, guide the team to build automation libraries, and utilize existing tools wherever possible as a part of new feature testing or as a part of the sustaining process for released/deployed software. Collaborate with other cross-functional teams including but not limited to Product Management, Customer Support and Platform engineering. Maintain multiple product configurations as applicable to various projects. Provide guidance and mentoring to new hires joining the team. What you’ll need: Knowledge of complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology, tools, developing test strategy, test planning and test execution. Strong automation background to be able to own automation strategy and tools required to build a test framework. Proven ability to integrate AI platforms into operational workflows to increase team productivity and data-driven decision-making. Strong troubleshooting of Cloud and On-Prem environments and analytical skills. Scale & Load Frameworks: Design and build large-scale test harnesses and simulation tools that mimic real-world cloud traffic, high concurrency, and failure scenarios for multiple microservices. Develop robust, automated multi-stage CI/CD test pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) environments for parallel execution. Performance testing: Profile system behavior, track metrics (CPU, memory, latency, and network saturation), and isolate performance bottlenecks in distributed architectures. Resiliency Testing: Execute chaos engineering and fault-injection experiments to verify system recovery and high availability. Experience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery. Ability to effectively lead and work with stakeholders in multiple engineering teams for defect investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventative actions. Be self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills. What you need to bring: Strong background in Quality Engineering.
