Job Description
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Design Project Manager in Dallas, TX.
Job Details
Manage the project development during pre-design and design phases of the project Manage all aspects of consultant contracts, including review and approval of consultant requests for payments, amendments, extension of schedule and contract closeout Manage the design development process and deliverables to get the project through design into bid and construction May provide comments on technical review of design documents Perform a high-level review of design project documents for conformance with scope and stakeholder requirements Manage estimates, value engineering, and constructability review process by others Provide technical assistance and recommendations to the owner and client representatives Coordinate with Project Stakeholders to resolve project and program issues Perform required project data transactions utilizing client software Provide design and schedule updates as needs arise Perform investigations of specific problems, including architectural and engineering analysis and recommendations Consult with regulatory agencies regarding interpretations and applications Monitor the services provided by professional consultants and meet to review and assist them in their submissions Prepare reports for management and clients Act as liaison between client and end user and government agencies Arrange and conduct field inspections with design consultants on site as needed, during investigation, data gathering and design development phases Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the US 10% domestic travel required to client sites Qualifications Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Power Apps AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper/scripting to develop technical 2D drawings and 3D studies Sketchup GIS Adobe Suite BIM Bluebeam Revu PMWeb Client Project Information Management Software Budget understanding and development General knowledge of Architectural and Engineering construction elements and reading of plans, details, sections, elevations and reports.
