Role
Definition Lead Engineer – Platform Integration role is to provide technical leadership for the development and integration of next-generation power generation products. This role is responsible for the end-to-end technical integration of generator set and package platforms, ensuring that complex subsystems are delivered as a validated, compliant, cost-effective, and production-ready solution. As the technical leader for the platform, you will drive system-level decision making, coordinate cross-functional engineering activities, and ensure successful execution from concept through production launch. Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end integration of generator set and power system platforms across mechanical, electrical, controls, cooling, structural, acoustic, fuel, and exhaust systems. • Own platform-level technical decisions, architecture, and integration trade-offs to achieve performance, quality, cost, and schedule targets. • Drive product development execution from concept through production launch, ensuring successful delivery of customer and business requirements. • Lead system design reviews, architecture reviews, DFMEA activities, and engineering readiness assessments. • Define and execute platform validation strategies, including thermal, structural, vibration, acoustics, electrical, durability, and compliance requirements • Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Service, and Compliance. • Drive issue resolution, risk management, and technical escalation to ensure product readiness and successful program execution. • Champion quality, cost, and velocity objectives through strong systems engineering, integration discipline, and proactive problem solving. • Ensure adherence to engineering processes, documentation standards, DFMEA practices, and product governance requirements. • Communicate platform status, technical risks, and key decisions to leadership and stakeholders. Degree Requirement Degree required • Requires a degree in an accredited in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Skill Descriptors Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
