What You Can Expect • Architect, design and develop system software for reliable, scalable, high performing network and storage systems using Rust. • Develop new features and enhance existing features for Data-plane/Fast-path software Toolkits by designing data structures and algorithms tailored for Marvell MIPS/ARM based CPU, coprocessors and hardware-based accelerators. • Develop software and troubleshoot issues related to hardware bring-up, multi-threaded software development with virtualized hardware. • Analyze and investigate methods to enhance software performance on Marvell SoC by eliminating bottle-necks using existing hardware and simulators and suggest future hardware/software design improvements. • Work with cross functional hardware/software engineers to understand and solve customer issues. • Plan, schedule, estimate efforts for projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers during execution. • Work on ARM based storage/Networking products, design and develop firmware and software for Storage and networking products.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor or Masters in electrical engineering, computer engineering or similar Strong software/firmware engineering background Experience developing security and/or storage products Minimum 12 years of relevant experience Experience with firmware development working closely with SoC development organization Knowledge of RUST, C, C++ and embedded firmware tools and techniques Ability work in dynamic and fast paced work environment Ability to technically lead the development of independent module in a large FW stack.
Preferred Experience
Experience of working on cryptographic and/or security FW protocols, Experience with HSMs and other security domain (TLS, Cryptography) is a plus Working knowledge on cryptographic algorithms (RSA, EC, AES, SHA variants), TLS/SSL protocols Working experience in any of one of the standard API developments : PKCS11, OpenSSL Engine, Root of trust Experience of firmware development on NVMe Using FW Simulators for Pre-Si FW development Affinity with Agile development Knowledge of processor architectures, such as ARM Experience with design and support for mass production (edited)
