Job Description and Requirements
This position is open to candidates located in the United States. To support collaboration with team members across North America and India, we are primarily focusing on candidates in Eastern and Central time zones. Preferred locations include Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando, Nashville, Dallas, Austin, Columbus, Indianapolis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Boston, Northern Virginia, and the Washington D.C. We Are Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow. You Are You are the kind of engineer who sees a manual deployment step and immediately starts thinking about how to automate it. A broken deployment can block an entire team, and you take genuine ownership of making that risk small and predictable. You move comfortably between hands-on Salesforce development and the release tooling that ships it, understanding that a good pipeline is as much a product as any Lightning component. Clear communication matters to you. When something is changing, you explain what, why, and what could go wrong, so developers, admins, and stakeholders trust the release process rather than fear it. You take pride in clean User Stories, well-organized promotion paths, and a Git history that actually tells the story of what happened. Repeatable, documented processes beat one-off fixes every time in your book. Turning a chaotic release cycle into a calm, predictable rhythm energizes you. At Synopsys, you will work with a team that takes this work seriously, where the pipelines you build directly affect how quickly and safely our Salesforce platform evolves.
What You'll Be Doing
Build, configure, and maintain Salesforce deployment pipelines in Copado, including User Stories, promotion paths, and release and environment management Develop and maintain Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning components, flows, and configuration in support of DevOps tooling and internal platform needs Manage Git-based version control workflows for Salesforce metadata, including branching strategy, merge conflict resolution, and code promotion across environments from sandbox to production Coordinate and execute Salesforce deployments, working closely with developers and admins to plan releases, sequence dependencies, and minimize downtime Monitor deployment pipelines and troubleshoot failures, working through Copado job errors, validation failures, and metadata conflicts to keep releases on track Maintain sandbox environments, including refresh scheduling, seeding, and data and configuration alignment across the org landscape Document release processes, deployment runbooks, and Copado configuration standards so the process stays consistent as the team grows The Impact You Will Have Give development teams a reliable, self-service path to production so releases stop being a bottleneck Reduce failed deployments and rollback incidents through better pipeline design, validation, and pre-deployment checks Shorten release cycles by streamlining promotion paths and cutting manual handoffs out of the process Improve visibility into what is moving through the pipeline, so stakeholders always know release status and risk Strengthen org stability by keeping sandboxes, metadata, and environments properly aligned and documented Enable the Salesforce platform to scale safely as customizations and user base grow across the company Create deployment patterns that other teams can adopt, multiplying your impact across the broader Salesforce organization What You'll Need 2 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce development or Salesforce
