Meet the Team The Operations & Middle Office team supports Millennium’s global investment platform, partnering across functions to deliver reliable, efficient operational processes. This small team supports an Equity Volatility desk and has broad product exposure across global equities, equity and index options, total return swaps, exotic OTC derivatives, futures, and foreign exchange. What You'll Do • Ensure accurate, timely trade capture following execution across equities, equity and index options, exotic OTC derivatives, bonds, futures, and foreign exchange • Partner with global teams to implement firm initiatives and support operational alignment • Respond to operational queries from portfolio managers and the Execution Desk • Monitor corporate actions affecting OTC derivatives and manage trade queues throughout the day • Support the implementation of new products and related operational processes • Onboard portfolio managers to Millennium platforms and support the integration of external managers • Identify and lead strategic process-improvement initiatives through completion What You Bring • 5+ years of experience supporting an Equity Volatility desk within a financial services firm • Undergraduate degree in a business-related discipline, such as finance, economics, or accounting • Strong working knowledge of equity and equity OTC derivatives markets, including autocalls, variance and volatility products, total return swaps, digitals, and QIS • Clear, effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with portfolio managers and brokers • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines • Advanced Excel proficiency • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving ability • Working knowledge of Imagine, Murex, and Kinetix preferred Salary Range Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
