A Day in the Life The DevOps Support Lead is responsible for establishing and maintaining DevOps governance, standards, and operational excellence across software delivery and production support environments. This role will partner with global teams to ensure deployment readiness, compliance, monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement of DevOps processes while supporting operational stability and regulatory requirements within a global healthcare technology environment. This is a remote position. Candidates based in Bogotá or surrounding areas are preferred, but qualified candidates across Colombia will also be considered Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Lead DevOps governance and promote best practices across software delivery and production support environments Ensure deployments, infrastructure, and applications meet quality, cybersecurity, and compliance standards Support release management activities, including deployment readiness, testing validation, and rollback planning Drive incident, problem, and change management processes to improve operational stability and service reliability Collaborate with global DevOps, Operations, Security, and managed service teams to establish and maintain operational standards Promote continuous improvement through monitoring, observability, documentation, and governance practices Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Experience working as a DevOps Engineer supporting development, deployment, and operational environments Strong knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices Experience with release management, production support, incident management, and root cause analysis. Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and governance processes Experience with monitoring and observability solutions Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills English proficiency C1-C2 Experience working with global teams in regulated environments and supporting enterprise-scale technology solutions is desirable Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
