Finance Lead

TLDR: We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Lead to own day-to-day accounting and finance operations: from reviewing expenses, invoices, and receipts to financial reporting, forecasting, and cash & burn tracking.

If you want to work deeply on hard problems, see your work ship to production quickly, and influence how AI safety is actually built – you’re the one we need.   You will: Coordinate meetings, calendars, and inboxes Handle travel planning (flights, hotels, logistics) Research and compare services, products, etc. Book reservations, appointments, and meetings Handle operational and administrative tasks quickly and independently Organise information and summarise options clearly Help reduce day-to-day operational friction across a wide variety of areas   You’ll fit right in if you: Own day-to-day finance and accounting operations across different entities, with a focus on the US entity and US GAAP accounting Own the monthly financial close and ensure our reporting and financial data are accurate and up to date Work with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, and other finance providers where needed Build and maintain financial reporting that gives a clear view of revenue, expenses, cash, burn, runway, and overall financial health Own budgeting and forecasting processes, including estimating revenue, expenses, headcount, cash needs, and runway Build and maintain financial models to support hiring, spending, pricing, fundraising, and other strategic decisions Help design and improve accounting and finance processes as we scale Prepare financial information and analyses for investors, fundraising processes, board materials, and due diligence Identify opportunities to automate repetitive finance workflows and improve the quality and speed of financial reporting A big plus: CPA qualification Experience with international accounting Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, cash flow planning, and burn/runway tracking Build lightweight dashboards and internal tools when needed to make financial analysis more accessible Comfortable building financial models from scratch and using them to answer real business questions Experience setting up finance and accounting processes from scratch   Why White Circle Meaningful equity package Paid time off in line with your local regulations, no matter where you work from All the hardware, tools, and services you need Covered subscriptions for AI agents and IDEs Team off-sites twice a year: we’ve recently been to the Alps and to Saint-Tropez   How we hire Intro call (25 min) Take-home test task Final call with CEO (45 min) Please submit your application in English
