About this role
The AWS Global Network Delivery (GND) team is searching for a passionate and technically skilled Business Analyst to drive data-driven process automation, operational standardization, and product enhancements across 10+ services and 6 network fabrics supporting Data Center and Network Capacity deployment. You will leverage SQL, data pipeline design, and systems-level thinking to assess tooling capabilities, identify gaps in backend data workflows, and define product requirements that improve operational efficiency for our customers. You will work with key stakeholders to support improvement programs, onboard new functions and frameworks, and reduce manual effort through automation initiatives such as Zero Touch Tracking (ZTT) and reusable framework development — with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining the SQL queries, data models, and backend logic that power these solutions. Key job responsibilities Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries across large-scale operational datasets to support reporting, automation, and decision-making. Build and maintain query logic that power dashboards, tracking tools, and automated workflows - ensuring accuracy as upstream data sources change. Support process automation initiatives - including Zero Touch Tracking (ZTT) and reusable framework development — to reduce manual task effort through data-driven solutions. Partner with BaND and GPO stakeholders to align on operational scope, onboard new functions, and resolve cross-team data and system dependencies. Support the transition of legacy tooling (e.g., SIM-C to Taskei) - ensuring data continuity, query migration, and improved system capabilities. Define AI-based operational support solutions and self-service runbooks — grounded in query-driven insights — to reduce inbound support volume. Streamline and simplify process workflows by analyzing operational data to improve issue resolution SLAs and technician productivity. Assess system gaps and propose product improvements — backed by quantitative analysis — that enable scalable, standardized operations. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications across internal teams.
