A Day in the Life The Remote Sales function supports customer engagement, commercial growth, and patient access through virtual selling strategies, territory management, and cross-functional partnership. This role supports a multi-country territory spanning the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia, with responsibility for driving commercial performance across General Surgical Portfolio. This position is based in the Philippines and follows a remote work model. The Remote Sales Supervisor leads a team responsible for achieving sales objectives, expanding customer relationships, and supporting business growth across the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia. This role provides sales leadership, operational oversight, coaching, and strategic direction while partnering with internal stakeholders to maximize territory performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of remote sales professionals to achieve revenue, customer engagement, and business growth objectives across the assigned territory. Drive execution of sales strategies and operating plans to support achievement of regional sales targets and expansion opportunities. Monitor team performance, sales pipeline activity, forecasts, and key performance metrics, implementing actions to improve results when needed. Build and maintain relationships with customers, healthcare stakeholders, and internal partners to support long-term business growth and customer retention. Support identification, qualification, and closure of new business opportunities while facilitating appropriate handoff and collaboration with field-based sales teams. Provide guidance on customer issue resolution, product inquiries, and escalation management to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with marketing, commercial operations, and field sales teams on product launches, educational initiatives, and territory planning activities. Oversee day-to-day sales operations, resource allocation, and execution of business priorities across the assigned markets.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma and 7+ years of relevant sales, customer support, or commercial experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences; OR Associate's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience. Minimum 1 year of people leadership, team supervision, or formal sales team management experience. Experience managing customer accounts, sales pipelines, forecasting activities, and revenue targets. Ability to support customers and business activities across multiple countries within the assigned territory. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally within the assigned markets.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading remote, inside sales, virtual sales, or multi-market commercial teams. Experience supporting business growth across Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Knowledge of healthcare industry purchasing processes, hospital systems, and customer engagement models. Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, sales analytics, and forecasting tools. Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth, customer retention, and team performance improvement initiatives.
