Title: Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer Co-Op (Fall 2027) Location: Freeport, TX Salary: $30.00 / hour Housing Stipend Available Focus: The Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer Co-Op supports development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, safety, and process safety initiatives across manufacturing and operational environments. This role can serve as the engineering representative on small capital projects including justification, obtaining approval, ordering, and installation processes and equipment.

What You'll Do

Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need. Assist with collecting, analyzing, and reporting EHS and quality-related data to support performance tracking and decision-making Assist with implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures Collaborate with employees and supervisors to promote a safe and environmentally responsible work environment What You'll Bring: Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Environmental or Chemical Engineering degree program Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations. Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) during rotation; Not eligible for virtual work Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license *Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship.
