Senior Leasing Manager, Vietnam Real Estate

This position is based in Hanoi, Vietnam under the SLP platform, which forms part of the Ares Management platform in Asia. The Senior Leasing Manager will be responsible for managing and leasing a portfolio of SLP’s industrial and logistics facilities. The role focuses on identifying and securing new tenants, managing lease negotiations, and closing transactions. A strong emphasis is placed on customer relationship development and occupancy performance. Primary Functions & Responsibilities Proactively identify and pursue leasing opportunities with potential tenants across targeted industries Lead lease negotiations, structure commercial terms, coordinate with internal legal and technical teams, and close lease transactions Develop and maintain a robust network of industry players, brokers, and key decision-makers Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with tenants and key accounts Monitor market trends, collect competitor intelligence, and maintain a comprehensive database of market insights Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive leasing pipeline and support business development initiatives Take ownership of the occupancy performance of SLP’s portfolio Act as a senior individual contributor while providing coaching, guidance, and informal mentorship to junior team members and cross-functional stakeholders Participate in strategic planning and support senior management in leasing-related matters Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar leasing or business development role within the real estate or logistics sector Strong network and proven track record in securing tenants in industrial sectors Deep understanding of rental economics and industrial property leasing is preferred Experience in industrial/logistics real estate companies, agencies, or as a Real Estate Manager with international 3PLs is preferred In-depth understanding of customer needs in the logistics and industrial sectors Strong business development skills with the ability to expand brand exposure and customer reach Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Customer-centric mindset and proactive, solution-driven approach Self-motivated, result-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic environments Willingness to travel within the region Reporting Relationships Principal, Leasing, Vietnam Real Estate There is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity.
