Definition As Associate Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the Engineering & Design of Solar Turbine’s Construction Services’ Products. You will involve in the design of the Oil & Gas Projects such as Gas Compression stations project, you will demonstrate designing, implementing, and maintaining Piping systems within the Oil & Gas industry  The identified candidate will be a member of a cross-functional team that Involves in FEED, Detail engineering, Procurement, inhouse Fabrication and Commissioning activities and ensues all performance metrics are achieved Responsibilities The candidate should possess a minimum of 6-8 years of industry experience in engineering / design execution and associated applications. Experience should include significant, demonstrated results leading Piping design efforts supporting industrial gas turbine packaging and associated gas compression and power generation projects and BOP systems engineering and design. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate knowledge of discipline-related industry Codes & standards such as  ASME  &  API and have experience with standards application across engineering specifications and vendor documentation. Comprehensive familiarity with CAD software packages supporting Piping design and broad knowledge of design and drafting techniques including, diagram generation, Isometrics creations, and details dwg creations.  Knowledge of Piping design Codes and Standards such as ASME B 31.3 & B 31.8 Line Sizing, Thickness Calculation, Pressure drop calculation Equipment sizing, Calculation. Preparation of Line List, Valve List, Equipment List, Piping Material Specification. Pipe Routing, Equipment Modelling using Autodesk Plant 3D. Pipe Spool Creations, Fabrication Dwg creations. Design, improve and standardize Fabrication and assembly processes of large bore pipes.  Knowledge of the installation and maintenance of piping systems, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and managing project timelines and budgets. Diagnosing and resolving issues in existing piping systems and performing regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.  Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents. Participating in build analysis for product completion.  Preparing technical reports and quality audit documents.  Knowledge about Pipe Supports and Support Engineering. Extraction of Piping Isometric from 3D Model and updating the Isometric for IFC. Creation of 2D drawing such as Piping Plan and Elevation, Equipment Layout. Preparation MTO, BOM from Piping 3D Models. Flexible and quick to learn global developments in EPC- Oil & Gas projects technologies and adopt. Continuous improvement of the design activity in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, quality, and productivity. Provide virtual technical support for shop floor for the orders engineered & commissioning support. Preferred Competencies:    Definition drawings,  3D Equipment Modelling, Pipe Routing. Pipe Spool creations, Line Sizing, Thickness Calculation, Pressure drop calculation. Pipe Support Engineering. Piping  drawings – Piping Isometrics, Piping Plan & Elevation, Details, MTOs/BOMs, NWD models, Clash checks, Vendor Drawing Review. Working experience with 3D Design Tools:  AutoCad Plant 3D. Inventor, E3D, Degree Requirement Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from accredited Engineering Institute. Skill
