Visit us online at: https://www.nwths.com/careers Position: Office Coordinator POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Admitting/Registration process in one of the following areas: Main Admitting/Acute Hospital, Pavilion Admitting, or Emergency Department. Such responsibilities encompass not only the internal functioning of the departments, but also the integration of these services into the overall functioning of Northwest Texas Healthcare System. The Office Coordinator supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Used under license Qualifications Education, Training, Experience and Licenses/Registrations Required: Associate Degree in Management or health related field or equivalent experience. Two to five years of experience in a healthcare environment or hospital admitting department recommended. Good supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility, self-motivation and high tolerance for stressful situations preferred. Computer experience recommended. Physical and Sensory Requirements: 1. Ability to read and write in English 2. Ability to communicate with patients, families, staff, physicians, support agencies, vendors, and others 3. Ability to remain calm under stress 4.
