As a Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager , you will lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of critical laboratory infrastructure investments supporting Microsoft Quantum's operations in Lyngby, Denmark. You will serve as the owner-side program lead for a portfolio of complex technical infrastructure projects, partnering closely with Laboratory Operations, scientists, engineers, Real Estate and Facilities (RE&F), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), procurement teams, consultants, contractors, and external vendors to define project strategies, develop investment recommendations, and ensure successful execution from concept through operational handover. This opportunity will allow you to shape the future of Microsoft's quantum infrastructure, influence strategic infrastructure investments, and work at the intersection of advanced science, engineering, and large-scale technical program delivery. Responsibilities
Lead a portfolio of laboratory infrastructure investments from concept development through commissioning and operational handover, ensuring delivery against business, schedule, budget, and performance objectives. Develop project strategies, execution plans, investment recommendations, and multi-year infrastructure roadmaps that support Microsoft Quantum's research, engineering, and operational priorities. Partner with Laboratory Operations, scientists, engineers, Real Estate and Facilities (RE&F), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), procurement teams, consultants, contractors, and external vendors to define requirements and deliver scalable infrastructure solutions. Translate business, scientific, and operational objectives into executable infrastructure programs while aligning diverse stakeholders and driving timely decision-making. Provide portfolio-level leadership across multiple concurrent projects by managing risks, dependencies, resource requirements, governance processes, and stakeholder communications. Deliver clear recommendations, trade-off analyses, budget proposals, and project status updates to leadership, enabling informed investment and execution decisions.
