The team you will be a part of The Accounting team establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports. This role in summary The Finance Manager will take 100% independent ownership of all day-to-day accounting, statutory, fiscal, and regulatory tasks for our Italian legal entity at our Mercallo site. As the entity navigates its next strategic lifecycle phase, this professional will ensure local compliance, manage regulatory filings, oversee the transition of operational activities, and maintain robust financial governance. This role reports directly to Luxembourg-based finance leadership and offers an excellent opportunity to manage complex corporate compliance and entity restructuring processes. Your responsibilities will include More specifically, the main tasks and responsibilities will include: Entity Governance & Compliance: Manage the end-to-end statutory, regulatory, and fiscal lifecycle obligations of the Italian legal entity, ensuring full compliance with local authorities during transitional phases. Financial & Statutory Accounting : Lead day-to-day accounting, review accruals, and supervise corporate financial records. Prepare annual financial statements under Italian GAAP. Global Reporting Alignment: Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting inputs to the US parent company, adapting local financial data to group requirements. Tax & Treasury Oversight: Coordinate annual tax return compliance (in partnership with our outsourced tax provider). Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns, statistical returns, and serve as the final monthly reviewer for F24 forms (vendors and remaining payroll allocations). Audit & Closure Readiness: Coordinate external audit processes, prepare comprehensive external audit deliverables, and systematically archive financial records to support long-term compliance requirements. Cash Flow Management: Coordinate entity cash flow availability, weekly forecasting, intercompany cost rebills, and intercompany reconciliations. Provide financial projections and interim accounts for group-wide entity management projects.
