Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.  The Material Processing Manufacturing Engineering Department centers on development and production support assembly methods, materials, and processes for current and next generation microwave and mmWave products, with a very heavy emphasis on cutting-edge automation and materials. You will work closely with manufacturing engineers, engineering technicians, production operators, quality and operations on product manufacturing. Team responsibilities include developing and implementing materials and processes, process improvements, and production support using established statistical process control techniques, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis. Evaluation of materials, equipment, and processes. This position will work on 3rd shift from 10pm - 6am.

Support current low-volume high-mix production in coatings factory with on-site responsiveness to factory equipment, process, materials, and product problems. Support coating factory production execution. Assist in implementing well-controlled processes, and with writing shop process documentation.  Support new products build typically with automated equipment. Ensure processes developed and executed meet product quality requirements (J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, IPC, etc.)  Assist with process improvement projects to improve factory productivity. Effective cross-functional communication of technical information.

You Must Have HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Manufacturing experience with surface mount technology (SMT), microelectronics and automated assembly equipment. We Prefer Experience in clean rooms or coatings manufacturing factories. Problem solving and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. Technical writing experience for operator instructions, process reports. Self-motivated, proactive, ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
