About the Role

You'll have a broad range of responsibilities and will own projects that drive an immediate impact. You'll advise on significant cybersecurity matters, including security initiatives, incident response, and evolving legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll also help investigate bad actors targeting DoorDash and develop legal strategies to disrupt their activities and pursue appropriate enforcement actions.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cybersecurity legal, digital investigations, and programmatic enforcement. You'll help DoorDash navigate security issues, provide legal advice on security matters, and create programmatic enforcement strategies to protect DoorDash, its customers, merchants, and partners.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
• Serve as a strategic legal advisor on cybersecurity risks, programs, technologies, incidents, and evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the legal response to cybersecurity incidents and investigations, including advising on response strategy, legal obligations, and communications.
• Develop legal strategies to investigate, disrupt, and pursue bad actors who target DoorDash, its customers, merchants, and partners.
We're excited about you because…
• You have strong legal judgment, a bias for action, and the ability to make decisions in ambiguous and fast-moving situations with imperfect information.
• You have experience with cybersecurity, cybercrime, enforcement, commercial litigation, technology, or related legal issues.
• You are excited by the opportunity to work across cybersecurity, digital investigations, and enforcement and to tackle novel problems without clear precedent.
• You can quickly understand complex legal and technical issues and translate them into practical advice.
• You are comfortable leading complex, high-stakes matters and exercising sound judgment under pressure.
• You are a self-starter who can independently drive matters while also being a collaborative teammate.
• You are curious, creative, and interested in building new approaches to difficult problems.
• You have 5–7+ years of legal experience and a Juris Doctor.
• You have experience in a law firm, government, or in-house legal department.
• You are authorized to practice law in the U.S. state where you are located.
Bonus Points
• Experience as a prosecutor or government attorney handling cybercrime, fraud, technology-related investigations, or
