Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Calibration Tasks: Perform, track, debug and troubleshoot complex calibration procedures for backend semiconductor equipment using established protocols and measurement tools Equipment Support: Inspect, maintain and assist with repair of calibration fixtures and support equipment to ensure operational readiness Data Management: Log calibration results, maintain traceability records and support data analysis to verify equipment performance trends Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities and support implementation of process improvements to reduce downtime and improve calibration accuracy Safety Leadership: Follow and promote lab and facility safety requirements, participate in safety reviews and support corrective actions Team Collaboration: Work independently and within cross-functional teams to execute calibration projects and communicate findings to engineers and technicians Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Education: 2–3 years progress toward BS in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science with intent to complete degree Technical Tools: Experience or coursework with metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and basic lab instrumentation Software: Familiarity with data logging tools and Microsoft Excel or equivalent for tracking and basic analysis Hands-on Skills: Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, fixtures and follow written procedures for equipment work Analytical Skills: Basic debugging and root-cause reasoning skills to identify and document calibration anomalies Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, effective verbal/written communication and ability to work in team environments Eligibility: US citizen or permanent resident required for export-controlled documentation access Additional information Infineon Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
