About this role
Job Description
Think you’ve got real commercial instinct? Test your sales skills in the high-stakes aerospace spares market, turning missed quotes into deals while decoding market intelligence straight from the source. What the job is … We quote thousands of parts annually, but we need dedicated focus to turn those quotes into active orders and valuable market insights. We are looking for a motivated Student Assistant to challenge and enhance our quote follow-up process . In this role, you will be the primary bridge between our customers and internal product teams—driving quote conversion, gathering pricing feedback, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Quote Follow-Up & Prospecting: Proactively get input from customers and brokers who have received part quotes to consolidate status updates and feedback. Pricing & Market Intelligence: Document detailed feedback on lost quotes (e.g., price gaps, lead times, competitor moves) and feed this structured data directly to Product Management. Deal Execution: Identify hot leads where a better price or term can win the order, negotiate revised offers with Product Management, and deliver final proposals back to the customer. Reporting: Maintain clean data in our system and track key metrics (conversion rate, win/loss reasons, revenue recovered) to demonstrate business impact. How you will contribute to the team Currently enrolled in the last year of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commercial Engineering, or a related field. Professional verbal and written communication skills with a confident, polite phone manner. High comfort level with outbound phone calling and direct customer interaction. Strong organizational skills to manage high volume across thousands of quoted parts. Fluency in English. Proficiency in German/French and Spanish is a plus. What does your next challenge look like?
