Endoscopy Tech

Per Diem, Days The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for administering direct and indirect patient care to an assigned group of patients who are scheduled for Endoscopic procedures. The Endoscopic Technician assists physician during a wide variety of endoscopic procedures. Functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and assists nursing personnel as needed. Provides patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team based on national standards, and utilizing the nursing process. The Endoscopy Technician participates in process improvement, professional education, committees and meetings to maintain competence and advance the mission and values of Good Samaritan Medical Center. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
