The Apprentice Data Scientist will work closely with Data Scientists, Machine learning engineers , data enginee rs and product teams to learn and contribute to the design and development of innovative, data-driven solutions. This includes assisting with data exploration, building machine learning models, and leveraging cutting-edge Generative AI technologies to extract insights from complex datasets. The apprentice will support the team in deploying statistical and predictive models while learning data science best practices throughout the machine learning lifecycle. Under the guidance of senior data scientists, you will help transform raw data into actionable intelligence that drives our business forward.

Coding & Best Practices:  Write, test, and maintain robust code in  Python  (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn), strictly adhering to software development and coding best practices.   Statistical Analysis:  Apply  general statistics  and probability for exploratory data analysis (EDA), hypothesis testing, and data validation.   Machine Learning:   Assist in developing, training, and evaluating ML models for predictive analytics and classification.   Generative AI:  Explore and implement modern GenAI solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).   MLOps & Deployment:   Utilize   Git  for version control, containerize models using  Docker , and assist in integrating machine learning workflows into  CI/CD  pipelines.   Innovation:  Research and integrate the  latest market trends  and emerging technologies in data science and AI.   Collaboration:   Participate in Agile ceremonies, work closely with cross-functional teams, and document technical methodologies.

(Minimum Qualifications)   Education:  Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.   Technical Skills:  Strong proficiency in  Python , a solid foundation in  general statistics , and a basic understanding of  Machine Learning  algorithms.   Engineering Tools:  Familiarity with version control ( Git ), containerization ( Docker ), and continuous integration/continuous deployment ( CI/CD ) concepts.   Soft Skills:  Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical teams.   Good to Have
