About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Systems Operations Manager. In this role, you will: Manage a Systems Operations team of analysts that monitor installed systems and infrastructure Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Systems Operations functional area Identify and recommend opportunities within Systems Operations to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on technical tasks Make decisions and resolve issues regarding operating systems, application software, and system management tools to meet business objectives Interpret and develop policies and procedures, and understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area Collaborate and consult with analysts, Information Technology personnel, or vendors Manage mid to highly experienced analysts Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Systems Operations Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Systems Engineering, and Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 2+ years of Leadership experience Desired Qualifications: Significant experience in managing CI/CD Operations - managing Infrastructure stability and availability for CI/CD tools like Urban CodeDeploy, Github, GihubActions, Harness, JFrog Artifactory, BlackDuck, Checkmarx, etc. Experienced in managing Infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle management for above CI/CD tools like version upgrades, moving from on-premise to vendor SaaS, CI migration like Jenkins to GithubActions, CD migration like UCD to Harness, supporting k8s upgrades, etc. Experienced in Incident management - including major Incident management, communication to internal stakeholders in I&P and US, co-ordinating with vendors, driving quick resolution. Experienced in Problem management - experienced in regularly identifying improvement opportunities from alerts and incidents, and driving those improvements to actual results, via Problem Management process Experienced people manager, who can set challenging but realistic goals for operations engineers for learning new skills, like new CI/CD tools and AI/GenAI skills, mentor them on technical and soft skills and help them achieve these goals Job Expectations: Run day-to-day CI/CD Platform Operations – spanning on-premise data centers and public/Vendor clouds – to ensure high stability and availability of platform. This includes alert monitoring and timely response. Review and help team plan and execute major and BAU changes. Mitigate risk of such changes by ensuring appropriate scheduling, pre-validations, post-change validation, etc. Shift management - prepare shift roster for team for weekdays, weekends and holidays to ensure 16x7 coverage from I&P team and monitor/adjust for any unplanned time-offs or ad-hoc events. Continuously measure and enable improvement of team’s performance – through DORA metrics like Mean time to resolution (MTTR) reduction and failed changes reduction, and through regular Alert analysis and introduction of new alerts/updates to previous, to continuously improve Observability and monitoring. Enhance I.&P. team capabilities by: (1) Ensuring coverage across teams - defining and achieving SME development plan with the team, to ensure sufficient coverage of tools across the team, and (2) Helping senior engineers develop global SME expertise in their area, providing support via relevant trainings and work assignments. Collaborate effectively with US platform team, I&P and US Engineering and other stakeholders to achieve above objectives. Own and drive daily handover calls with US platform team Automation and AI – Help team define relevant use cases, do technical POC, implement and realize automations in CI-CD Platform tools processes and incidents, to either increase efficiency,
