What the day will look like As a HR Specialist, you will support the end-to-end offer and pre-hire process from offer acceptance through start date, helping to ensure a timely, accurate, and compliant onboarding experience. Your day may include: Managing offer activity globally from acceptance through start date, ensuring all required steps and approvals are completed on time Preparing, reviewing, and issuing offer documentation, contracts, and addenda using approved templates and regional guidance Coordinating and tracking pre-hire activities such as background checks, work authorization, references, and other market-specific requirements Serving as a key point of contact for candidates post-offer, providing clear updates and guidance on pre-employment and onboarding tasks Partnering with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, hiring managers, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, and regional HR teams to confirm offer details and pre-hire readiness Maintaining accurate data and documentation across HR systems (ATS, HRIS, background screening platforms, digital signature tools) and ensuring records are audit-ready Identifying routine delays, data discrepancies, or process gaps and resolving or escalating them as appropriate Supporting process standardization, documentation, and improvement initiatives related to global offer management and onboarding How this opportunity is different In this role, you are at the center of Aon’s hiring and onboarding experience. You will: Work across countries, regions, and time zones, gaining exposure to diverse markets, regulations, and practices Collaborate closely with a broad network of partners – from Talent Acquisition and HR to hiring managers and regional partners – building strong relationships across the business Play a key part in shaping candidates’ first impression of Aon by ensuring a smooth, informed, and supportive journey from offer acceptance to start date Contribute to global process standardization and continuous improvement, helping to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort Influence how data and metrics are used to monitor pre-hire readiness, identify trends, and enhance both candidate and stakeholder experience Skills and experience that will lead to success Several years’ experience in HR, Talent Acquisition operations, onboarding, recruiting coordination, or a similar process-driven role, ideally in a global or multinational environment Proven ability to manage deadline-driven processes involving multiple collaborators, regions, or time zones, with strong organization and attention to detail Confidence working with HR and recruiting systems (e.g. ATS, HRIS, background screening and digital signature tools) and Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, supportive style when interacting with candidates and internal partners Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality, with experience handling sensitive candidate and employee data and a focus on compliance and data accuracy #LI-Hybrid #Businessupport #LI-AM7 2586154
