The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home. Website: https://suncoastbhc.com/ The facility is looking for a Director of Dietary/Food Services who will be responsible for directing and overseeing the overall operations of nutrition services for patients and employees. This role is responsible for assuring quality nutritional services are provided daily in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner by developing, managing, and maintaining policies and procedures in accordance with administrative directives, physician’s orders, patient care plan orders, patient care plans, professional and regulatory standards. Additionally, this role manages the operation of the Dietary Department including food ordering and preparation, food delivery and clean up and oversees equipment maintenance, record keeping and all sanitation activities. Qualifications

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field required. 5-8 years’ experience in food service. Must have knowledge of record keeping, menu planning, therapeutic diets, and purchasing practices. Experience in a healthcare food service facility preferred. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) required. ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required. Good organizational skills a must. Also, must be familiar with inventorying, cooking by recipes and writing recipes, writing procedures and supervising a staff.

Physical Requirements

Good physical health and good mental attitude is essential. Stands and walks most of the day. Handles and manipulates equipment. Tastes and smells food to determine quality. Reaches, lifts and carries relatively light material.
