Senior finance leadership role, acting as the principal Finance Business Partner to the Group Finance function, providing strategic financial leadership, commercial insight, and supporting delivery of Efficient Growth and FFP+ transformation objectives. This role plays a key part in supporting delivery of Efficient Growth targets, driving VCC/offshoring strategies, and strengthening cost discipline.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership Serve as the principal financial adviser to Group Finance leadership, shaping and executing financial strategy aligned to Efficient Growth and FFP+ priorities. Lead strategic planning, resource allocation and prioritization across the Finance function. Drive scenario modelling and financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making. 2. Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting & actuals performance for the Finance Function. Develop and maintain robust financial models to support forward-looking cost outlooks, productivity and financial performance. Provide clear, decision-oriented insights to senior Finance leadership, enabling proactive performance management. Ensure alignment between Finance plans and Group financial targets. 3. Cost Management & Efficient Growth Delivery Lead delivery of cost management and optimization across the Finance function, aligned to Efficient Growth targets. Lead financial evaluation, challenge and oversight of VCC/offshoring strategies, including cost modelling, business case development, and transition planning. Oversee tracking and realization of financial benefits from operating model and location strategy changes. Provide transparency and insight into cost drivers, performance and opportunities. 4. Financial Governance, Risk & Control Ensure strong financial governance, transparency and accountability across Finance cost base. Oversee financial risk management, proactively identifying and addressing cost inefficiencies and delivery risks. 5. Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering: Act as a trusted business parter to Finance leadership, providing constructive challenge and commercial insight. Influence decision-making through fact-based recommendations and forward-looking analysis. Collaborate closely with Group Finance, and broader FBP teams to ensure alignment 6. Capability Building: Support development of a high-performing finance business partnering capability aligned to Group standards. Promote a culture of accountability, commerciality and continuous improvement across Finance. Core Competencies & Skills: Strategic financial leadership: Shapes Finance strategy, operating model and resource allocation to deliver Efficient Growth. Cost management & transformation delivery: Leads cost optimisation, productivity and operating model change, including VCC/offshoring. Planning, forecasting & performance oversight: Owns financial modelling, forecasting and actuals, driving proactive performance management. Senior business partnering & influence: Acts as a trusted adviser to Finance leadership, influencing strategic decisions and outcomes. Financial governance & delivery discipline: Ensures strong control, transparency and execution across cost and transformation initiatives.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) ~12 – 18 years of finance experience, with progression into leadership roles Proven
