Lead Clinical Pharmacist – IP Oncology Location: The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders in Oncology Care, Central London Contract Type: Temporary to cover Maternity Leave until 7th January 2028 Full time: 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract between Monday-Friday, with contribution to weekend and on-call on a rota basis Salary: Competitive with benefits, including private healthcare HCA Healthcare UK are recruiting for a Lead Clinical Pharmacist (IP) to join our Oncology pharmacy team based at The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Based in London’s medical district, our hospital is accessible and is considered an employer of choice. Our pharmacy team delivers an exceptional patient-centred service across our world-renown campus that house several centres of excellence from to Complex Oncology to Cardiac to Diagnostics. In this role you will be a key member of the pharmacy leadership team, and you will be responsible for developing, monitoring and leading on the provision of a high quality, patient focused clinical pharmacy services to our Oncology Services. In this role, you will be managing a team of oncology pharmacists covering highly specialist and complex patients. The Lead Clinical Pharmacist will lead on service and professional development, governance, audit and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also be a key stakeholder for the relevant Quality Improvement Project(s) (QIPs). You will be integral in developing and providing training, education and mentorship to pharmacists and technical staff. As a Lead Clinical Pharmacist, you will deliver a safe and effective, quality driven, pharmacy service to consistently meet the needs of all service users to the highest possible standard across The Harley Street Clinic campus, including covering for the Deputy Pharmacy Manager as required. What you’ll bring: Master’s in clinical pharmacy or equivalent Post graduate diploma Registration with GPhC Independent Prescriber Specialist knowledge and experience within Oncology and Cancer Services within a hospital setting Experience in leading a team of Pharmacists Why HCA UK?
