Job Description
This role creates Banks Acceptance financing, processes, accepts and/or affects payments under Documentary Collections. Depth & Scope: Requires specialized expertise to provide complex transactions/product feature advice and guidance to customers Requires specialized skills and expertise in a range of products, services, concepts and processes and could be characterized by moderate - high complexity/risk Acts as an account and credit administration process/ product expert to customers and/or internal partners Identifies complex problems and formulates the most appropriate solution Uses insights into how the customer or sales team integrates with other teams to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared objectives Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of related experience preferred Customer Accountabilities: Acts as a resource for Global Trade Finance team Receives new letters of credit and/or amendment for issuance or advising Reviews for compliance and consistency with letter of credit terms Processes, accepts and/or affects payments on Import/Export Documentary Collections Answers and resolves investigations and Customer inquiries Verifies authenticity of letter of credit transactions by ensuring the information is properly authenticated Examines letter of credit documents ensuring all letter of credit terms have been complied with or notifies of discrepancies Assists account officers with clarifications of terms, pricing, and discrepancies Informs manager of any Customer issues Collects and processes fees Maintains high level of technical and procedural expertise including knowledge of company products and services Maintains high level of understanding of letter of credit products Shareholder Accountabilities: Prioritizes and completes own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity, and supports the team manager in prioritizing and managing team workload Actively maintains an understanding of internal and industry regulations and trends, develops and shares knowledge of emerging issues and risks, and assesses potential impacts on operating policies, standards, and procedures Consistently exercises discretion in managing correspondence, information, and all matters of confidentiality Supports the development and/or implementation of standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize service availability, efficiency, and effectiveness Contributes to the development and delivery of presentations and communications to management or broader audiences Protects the interests of the organization by identifying and managing risks and ensuring the prompt and thorough resolution of escalated non‑standard, high‑risk issues Adheres to enterprise frameworks and methodologies related to operational activities for the area (e.g., Anti‑Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management) Supports change‑management projects or programs that impact the business, functions, or processes, and ensures clear communication and documentation of new processes Identifies, leads, and
