Support Next Generation Transponder (NGT) Tags, Portable Deployment Kits (PDK) and all write software to include but not limited to TIPS-Write. Use reporting, collaboration, and communications tools such as the RF-ITV In-Transit Visibility (ITV) Portal, Integrated Support System (ISS), the ITV Global Helpdesk and the Daily ITV Report to analyze health of the system and determine solutions for problem areas.  Respond to system outages, resolve problems within the time specified in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and record all progress in ISS Service Management Ticket (SMTs).  Ensure compliance with all local command procedural and policy requirements.  Independently perform Global Operations missions, including site surveys, installations, de-installations, formal classroom instruction, and exercise support/training; provide required Government customer reports upon mission completion. Configure Field Data Units (FDUs) with a baseline that includes a Windows operating system, RFID applications, Remote Desktop Management software, security policies, and patches. Inform team members of new or innovative solution design so these approaches can be implemented across the program.  Apply in-depth technical knowledge of active RFID wave propagation and understanding of ISO 18000-7 Over-the-Air protocol and collaborate with other FSEs to discuss and validate solutions.  Analyze DoW logistics processes to recommend optimal placement and employment of RF-ITV systems. Ensure Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) assets are physically secure and accounted for, as well as being accurately documented in the ISS database.  Responsible for all GFE asset lifecycle activity including requesting, receiving, maintaining, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), and retiring/disposal of the assets as required for RF-ITV infrastructure operations.
