The Retail Web Technology (RWT) organization leads the development and maintenance of Schwab's premier digital platform for retail clients - individual investors just like you. We also Support Retirement Plan Services (RPS) web platform. Our team is seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer, who embraces being technical leader and has a real passion for using state of the art web technologies to build compelling interactive web applications. As a Sr IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and leading enterprise‑wide, cross‑functional strategic initiatives within the Retail and Retirement web technology area. Leading a variety of project types, including the delivery of technology solutions, large‑scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments that will support the retail and retirement technology teams to deliver exceptional web experience to customers. As Schwab transitions to a scaled agile model, this role requires a blend of traditional project management expertise and scaled agile methodology experience, partnering closely with business, technology, and risk stakeholders to deliver outcomes that enhance customer experience and help technology teams to build compelling interactive web applications.

Lead and coordinate new initiatives to support the technical and business strategy of the organization Plan the delivery of the multi-team initiatives and activities Drive large, complex projects to completion and execute roadmaps, while championing business and technical goals Manage interdependencies across a high number of scrum teams and organizations Liaise with a diverse set of stakeholders to ensure needs and expectations are met Work across specialized business and technical partners to broker decisions and negotiate trade-offs Translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for business partners Communicate effectively at an executive and team level Mediate and resolve conflicts, maintain a strategic focus when making decisions Demonstrate sound judgment regarding decisions and escalations with complete information Provide supervision and direction to project teams to ensure successful execution Ensure quality and evidence of project documentation Understanding of Agile processes, team velocity and the ability to forecast progress accordingly Collaborate across Design, Development, QA, Operations, and Governance teams to help remove roadblocks Coordinate with external vendors and internal technical and legal teams to manage relationships and contractual agreements

8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance 5+ years developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts Current working experience with Schwab systems and processes Solid understanding of QA practices (black box testing, risk-based testing, system testing, regression testing, exploratory testing) Hands-on coding experience with
