About this role
Are you passionate about enabling Amazon's 2+ million sellers worldwide to thrive? The Selling Partner User Experience (SPUX) team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to own two critical workstreams: UX AI Tooling and Experimentation. This role will drive cross-functional delivery of generative design tooling, with the goal of enabling SPUX Designers to prototype more efficiently, produce near-production-ready code for easier handoff to Engineering, and maintain compliance with design system guidance to uphold our high quality bar. In parallel, this role will drive the execution and scaling of different experiment types, with the goal of enabling SPUX UX practitioners to conduct UX-led usability testing more efficiently, systematically track and learn from patterns that extend beyond current design system guidance, and ultimately de-risk future product decisions. These workstreams are force multipliers that enable SPUX to maintain quality standards while increasing velocity as the seller experience evolves. The ideal candidate thinks strategically, takes initiative, and dives deep into details—capable of developing high-level strategic initiatives while remaining detail-oriented enough to push forward necessary tasks. Maturity, strong business judgment, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to earn trust and influence cross-functional teams are essential. The candidate for this position embraces ambiguity, ramps quickly on complex issues, and communicates convincingly to diverse internal and external audiences. Key job responsibilities • Lead the AI design tooling program: develop program roadmap based on problem statements with biggest entitlements, partner with SPUX Design Technologists to ensure tools address designer needs and ship on time, partner with internal product teams to integrate into builder workflows, track adoption and success metrics, and author strategic documents to secure alignment and investments as needed • Drive the experimentation program from intake to impact: refine and drive adoption of intake mechanisms and prioritization frameworks, coordinate execution across SPUX Designers and Researchers, partner with SPUX Business Analyst to automatically surface data-driven insights, and deliver recommendations that inform design system evolution and de-risk product roadmaps • Scale operational capacity through new AI capabilities, analytical solutions, and mechanisms, building the foundation needed to operate efficiently at higher volume • Establish success metrics and reporting mechanisms (reporting slides, dashboards, alerts) to demonstrate ROI and inform future investment decisions • Define and document strategy through narratives (strategy documents, Quarterly Business Reviews, etc.) to drive continual visibility and alignment on step-change process improvements • Communicate results to stakeholders through clear, data-driven narratives that influence product roadmaps and design system evolution A day in the life On Monday, you might review new experiment intake requests and partner with SPUX Leadership to align on prioritization against strategic goals. On Tuesday, you update the AI tooling roadmap with latest delivery statuses and raise blockers to SPUX Program Management Leadership. Wednesday, you partner with the SPUX Business Analyst to semi-automate experimentation analyses so the program can scale efficiently. Thursday, you attend and contribute to a working session with internal product teams to integrate multiple UX tools into a more optimized builder workflow. Friday, you enter leadership goal updates for the previous month.
