Your Impact
We are looking for a Government Affairs Senior Manager to lead PMI's government affairs and public policy agenda across the Caribbean, Central America and Andean Cluster (CCA).
In this role, you will
• Develop and execute government affairs and public policy strategies aligned with PMI's business priorities and smoke-free vision.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulators, industry associations, chambers of commerce and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor political, legislative and regulatory developments, identifying risks and opportunities that may impact the business.
• Lead advocacy initiatives and public policy engagement efforts across the region.
• Advise senior business leaders on government affairs, policy and regulatory matters.
• Represent PMI in high-level external engagements and industry forums.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Fiscal Affairs, Legal, Communications, Compliance, Sustainability and Commercial teams.
• Lead, coach and develop Corporate Affairs talent while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation.
Who We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred (Public Policy, International Affairs, Government Relations, MBA or equivalent).
• 12+ years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy or External Relations.
• Proven experience engaging with senior government officials, regulators and policymakers.
• Strong background operating in regional or multi-country environments.
• Experience within highly regulated industries is highly preferred.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.
• Availability to travel frequently across the region.
