Become a part of our caring community We are seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Product Manager to help drive forward the vision, strategy, and delivery of Enterprise Network Services as a Product. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the lifecycle and capabilities of our network platforms—including data center, cloud, WAN, LAN, and emerging connectivity solutions—treating them as products consumed across the enterprise. You will be responsible for working with Engineering leaders in defining the roadmap, aligning with stakeholders, balancing cost and value, and ensuring our network capabilities deliver measurable business outcomes such as scalability, resiliency, and secure connectivity. This is a strategic role that requires product management expertise, strong technical fluency in networking, and the ability to translate enterprise needs into actionable network product features. Key Responsibilities • Product Strategy & Vision • Define and communicate the vision for “Network as a Product” that aligns with enterprise digital transformation goals. • Build a multi-year roadmap covering connectivity, security, automation, and cloud adoption. • Champion a “platform mindset,” ensuring network services are consumable, reliable, and measurable. • Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Management • Partner with segment CIO's and their leaders, Infrastructure architects, engineering and Operations, application teams, and business units to understand needs. • Translate stakeholder requirements into prioritized product features and services. • Balance competing demands across cost, speed, security, and scalability. • Delivery & Lifecycle Management • Guide cross-functional teams to deliver product capabilities. • Establish KPIs and SLAs for network services, ensuring accountability for performance and customer satisfaction. • Manage the product lifecycle from concept through retirement. • Governance & Financial Management • Own the business case, financial models, and total cost of ownership (TCO) for network products • Assist in driving vendor strategy aligned to Humana's vision, including collaboration with major providers (e.g., Equinix, MegaPort, Google/Azure/AWS/Oracle connectivity, SD-WAN partners etc). • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements. • Partner for Engineering leaders to: drive Innovation & Continuous Improvement, Introduce automation, AI/ML, and observability into network services, Evaluate emerging technologies and pilot their applicability Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications • 8+ years of product management or IT service ownership experience, ideally in enterprise infrastructure. • Strong technical understanding of enterprise networking (WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, cloud interconnects, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, firewalls). • Proven ability to develop and execute roadmaps and strategies for large-scale, mission-critical platforms. • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional delivery teams in a matrixed organization. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence executives and translate technical detail into business value. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in network modernization initiatives (cloud connectivity, zero-trust, SASE). • Background in financial management of IT services, including chargeback/showback models • Familiarity with Agile practices in infrastructure product delivery. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred) A dditional Information The candidate must live close to one of our designated IT locations: NYC, NY; Louisville, KY; Tampa, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Dallas/Frisco, TX; Boston, MA; Washington, D.C: Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN, Chicago, IL, or Charlotte, NC.
