Palletizer Skilled Pr02 1st Shift Cincinnati OH

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. Use handheld inventory tool to accurately close pallets into our computer system for tracking. Responsible for packaging product neatly and correctly in carton in an organized manner with consistent awareness and emphasis on quality with accurate counts.   Duties may include box making, line inspecting and palletizing.    Must be willing work in extreme temperatures ranging from 39F to 90F for up to 8-10 hours a day.    Must be willing and able to do paperwork when working on palletizing and keeping track of pallets.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation     Tasks:   This position will perform repetitive motion on a consistent and steady basis.    The team member must be willing and able to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms and Must be willing to stand in one spot for an extended period. Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs   Continual communication with leads, line coordinators, FSQA and management to ensure product is ready to ship.   Team member has an individual responsibility to report all possible deficiencies or practices that could compromise food safety.     twisting motions.   Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 40 pounds to chest height. 85%   Use handheld inventory tool to accurately close pallets into our computer system for tracking. 10%    Assist in packing area as needed. 5%   Ability to work safely in a high traffic area. 100%   Must be able to communicate w/leads, line coordinators, FSQA and management   Special Skills: Must be able to use handheld inventory tool       Requirements:   Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required .   6 months of work history with one employer within the last 24 months .    Relocation Assistance Eligible: No Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America) Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
