We are changing the world with: Trusted products that accelerate drug discovery, development, and delivery to save lives Damage-resistant cover glass to enhance the devices that keep us connected Optical fiber, wireless technologies, and connectivity solutions to carry information and ideas at the speed of light Precision glass for advanced displays to deliver richer experiences Auto glass and ceramics to drive cleaner, safer, and smarter transportation Solar polysilicon, wafers, and innovative photovoltaic modules, enabling low-cost solar energy solutions Purpose of the position: Manage the daily logistics operations at all warehouse locations in the region to ensure warehouse space assurance, inventory management, warehouse operations management, daily transaction & accuracy management as well as enforcement of SOP compliance; establish the performance metric properly with the third party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure that the 3PLs meet the warehouse operational expectations so as to hit business requirements; Ensure that all shipments comply fully with the import/export regulations. Day to Day Responsibilities:
Manage the daily warehouse operations for all locations to ensure on-time delivery. Ensure 3PLs provide sufficient warehouse space to store the goods for all inbound/outbound shipments. Responsible for maintaining the daily transactions and inventory accuracy, manage to conduct the regular cycle count at the 3PL warehouses. Host and lead monthly performance review and quarterly business review with 3PLs to make the improvement if any. Work across the functional teams with planning, customer services, sourcing and 3PLs to meet customer requested ship date. Ensure all shipments fully comply with all applicable local government and global trade regulations. Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency, inventory accuracy, and effectiveness of the warehouse operations. Prepare necessary warehouse spend analysis report and make the recommendations for process /cost improvements for management review;
Education & Experience
Minimum degree holder supply chain management, logistics or related discipline. Minimum 8 working of relevant solid experience in Logistics industry in related to Inventory Management, Warehousing Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Transportation Management. Hands on Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system such SAP and Warehouse Management System as well as the implementation. Strong experience in managing the 3PL’s large scale warehouse, inventory management and supplier relationship management. Strong experience in building and reporting cost analysis in related to various warehousing costs driven.
