Job Description
Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Ground Segment Engineer (m/f) to join our Customer Support & Operations department based in Toulouse, France. This department is in charge of corrective and evolutionary activities as well as Operations for Earth Observation and Telecom satellites. The Internal GS Maintenance team is in charge of Earth observation Ground Segment for institutional and internal customers. You will be integrated in the Control Ground Segment (CGS) transversal engineer’s team accountable for the CGS performance and effective flight operations on five fleets. In this context, you will contribute to control and maintain the satellites fleets operated from the Control Ground Segment (CGS) in Toulouse. This team is also in charge of the continuous support of the procedures and ground/on-board software specification. Your challenges: Interface with Flight Director to prioritize and organize CGS activities on various projects (PNeo, Azaleo, CO3D , CSO-SCC, PNEXT), Analyze and qualify operational ground anomalies, Maintain CGS internal sub-systems, Prepare and validate new software deliveries, Update test environments for these new deliveries, Generate and upgrade operational procedures, Be controller interface and integrate the on-call duty (typically once a month).
Your profile
Educated to Master degree or equivalent in Engineering , Knowledge in software development cycle and Maintenance process, Knowledge of LINUX and scripting , Desired knowledge of Ansible, jenkins, Knowledge of software maintenance processes and configuration management tools (GIT, GITLAB), Knowledge in functional interfaces and functional chains, Capacity to analyze, synthetize and present complex problems and solutions, Capacity to build technical proposals, Good relationship skills and team spirit, Autonomy, decision making, Sensitivity to customer relationship, Languages: Advanced level French and English.
