About this role
As a Stainless-Steel Piping Welder/Assembler , you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding stainless steel piping systems used in the electronics industry. In this role, you will apply your expertise in GTAW/TIG welding, pipe fitting, blueprint interpretation, and quality workmanship while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
What You Will Do
Weld stainless steel piping systems using TIG (GTAW) and other approved welding processes. Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&ID diagrams, isometric drawings, and welding procedures. Fit, align, and assemble pipe sections, valves, fittings, and supports. Perform root, fill, and cap welds in accordance with ASME B31.3 requirements. Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure quality and compliance. Prepare materials by cutting, beveling, grinding, and cleaning pipe surfaces. Operate welding machines, grinders, pipe cutting equipment, and measuring tools. Follow welding procedures, quality control requirements, and project specifications. Maintain a safe work environment and comply with OSHA and company safety regulations. Complete required documentation, including weld logs and inspection records. Coordinate with supervisors, teammates, and QA/QC inspectors to support successful project completion.

Details Location: Chandler, AZ Work Environment: On-site at the Chandler Fab Shop Reporting To: Production Manager Shift Hours -- 7am to 4pm (Monday to Friday) Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 3-5 years of stainless-steel pipe welding experience. Proficiency in GTAW/TIG welding on stainless steel pipe. Ability to pass applicable weld qualification tests. Knowledge of ASME and applicable piping codes and standards. Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments. AWS Certified Welder certification. OSHA 10 certification. No sponsorship is provided for this role.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb. Ability to work at heights. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision welding tasks. Annual or Hourly Compensation Range: $27-$29.51/HR Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
