Mgr, Supply Chain Data Products and Analytics Position Summary Leads the Supply Chain Data Products & Analytics team serving the Supply Chain organization. The Manager owns the supply chain data product portfolio — governed, reusable analytical assets including inventory productivity and Economic Return on Inventory models, workforce capacity models, distribution network demand signals, and operational scorecards — that convert enterprise data into supply chain decisions with measurable financial outcomes. The role builds domain analytics on the enterprise data platform under enterprise standards, is the named owner of the supply chain analytical data layer and leads the team's adoption of AI-enabled analytical capability, including the existing automation portfolio and natural-language analytics, under applicable governance and control standards.
Essential Responsibilities
Data Product Ownership Owns the supply chain data product catalog: definition, prioritization, development, versioning, and retirement of governed analytical assets serving Supply Chain functions, Supply Chain leadership, and enterprise finance stakeholders. Directs closure of documented domain data engineering gaps in the enterprise lakehouse in partnership with the enterprise data platform organization. Establishes data contracts, refresh standards, and quality thresholds for all production data products. S/4HANA Analytical Continuity Serves as the accountable owner for the supply chain analytical data layer and maps every production report and data product to its post-conversion data source before cutover. Partners with the Business Integration function on system-of-record design decisions affecting downstream analytics; Business Integration owns system configuration and process design — this role owns the analytical consumption layer. AI-Enabled Analytics & Workflow Owns and evolves the team's automation and AI-assisted analytics portfolio, progressing from robotic process automation toward governed AI workflows within human-approved control boundaries and applicable enterprise standards. Maintains a value ledger attributing realized savings and productivity hours to each deployed capability; no autonomous AI action on financial controls. Decision Support Delivers executive decision support: MSS Leadership Scorecard, Monthly Operating Review analytics, blocked invoice control monitoring against the SOX threshold, and CFO-level financial models.
Team
Leadership & Capability Build Leads, develops, and performance-manages a team of 4–5 professionals; executes the team's skills progression toward analytics engineering, AI engineering, and data product management.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, engineering, information systems, or business discipline, or equivalent experience. Seven or more years of progressive experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or supply chain decision support, including two or more years leading people or cross-functional delivery. Demonstrated delivery of analytical products on a modern cloud data platform (Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent) with SQL fluency and working knowledge of data modeling. Experience supporting enterprise resource planning data environments; SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) data structures strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in utility, energy, or asset-intensive supply chain operations. Experience with data product management practices, semantic layer design, or federated operating models. Experience deploying RPA, LLM-based tooling, or AI-assisted workflow automation under enterprise governance, including human-in-the-loop control
