This is a heavy coordination role and must be strong in managing the matrix and influencing others. Preferred candidates must have previous mining operations and autonomy experience.  Role works hand in hand with customer’s operational leaders.  Role will also establish and maintain high-level relationship with business decision makers and subject matter experts, influencing and driving Caterpillar Product Groups and internal partners to accelerate and deliver interim corrective and permanent corrective actions and support that mitigate the impact of product and production issues to customers. It also influences various Caterpillar divisions to develop the correct new products and services to meet the mine site’s current and future needs. This role is accountable for representing Caterpillar and Caterpillar assigned actions. The position must be able to work with the dealer, Caterpillar and the customer to deliver the agreed upon metrics for the site. Successful candidate will also manage key site performance metrics including safety, technology availability, production metrics, operating cost per ton, uptime, AHS fleet utilization, etc.   The role will partner closely with the Mining Region Manager, Physical Availability and Site Solutions Manager (if applicable), Commercial Manager and Sales Reps on commercial opportunities at the site.
