 Security Clearance Status: Not Required Reporting to the Production Control Supervisor, the Shipping Coordinator will be a crucial role performing both administrative and physical tasks in shipping and receiving. SHIFT HOURS: This is a first shift position. Shift time will be either 7am-3:30pm OR 8am-4:30pm. We will confirm the shift start and end time at time of offer.
What You Will Do
Works under supervision but can work unsupervised. Normally follows established procedures on routine work. Receives, checks, stores, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control. Prepares shipping documents and all paper work that accompanies the shipment. Including any paperwork needed from customer websites. Uses ERP system. Verifies all work and documentation for accuracy and completeness. Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material. Uses a fork truck and pallet jack daily. Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials. Proficiently uses computer hardware/software. Oversees parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment; records calibration logs of tools and equipment. Oversees inventory and maintains customer property. Maintains contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of material/process. Uses assorted measuring and weight recording devices. Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean. May use company van to complete local deliveries as needed. Must be able to stand 8+ hours for the duration of the shift. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 35 lbs. Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
