This includes performing Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, vendor factory audits, warranty management, and resolving issues with the vendor. • Evaluate prospective GIS suppliers and manufacturing facilities to determine whether their products, quality systems, production capabilities, testing processes, and long-term support structure meet DEV's expectations. This includes reviewing technical designs, auditing factory practices, assessing supplier responsiveness, and identifying risks before equipment is approved for purchase. • Support the identification, evaluation, and implementation of innovative technologies to address GIS challenges, improve performance, reduce risk, and enhance operational flexibility. • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve engineering standards for medium and high voltage GIS equipment, including metal-clad equipment and related components. • Provide strategic leadership, roadmap development, and governance for GIS programs, including alignment with procurement, and long-term transmission expansion strategies. • Establish and govern fleet-wide performance management programs, including asset health
