Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer (Level 2 or Level 3) with mechanical engineering experience to join its team. This position is in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What you will get to do: The qualified candidate will report to the PLT Mechanical Design Integration lead and is responsible for artifact development for all PLT interfaces. Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following: Development of full vehicle installation models Development of Interface Control Models Configuration management of Support Equipment Ownership and upkeep of the PLT drawing tree and modeling tree Interfacing with other IPTs to develop interface requirements and ConOps Support development of mass properties analysis and documentation As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage - 401k - Educational Assistance - Life Insurance - Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions - Paid Time Off - Health & Wellness Resources - Employee Discounts This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. This position may be hired at the System Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer levels depending upon applicant qualifications.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Systems Engineer (level 2) : Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience with bachelor’s degree, or 0 years of experience with master’s degree Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs 1 year of experience with systems or mechanical design 1 year of experience using CAD software Principal Systems Engineer (level 3) : Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years
