About this role
The Cyber Security Data Protection service is responsible for multiple programs across Ford to enable a securely connected digital business as well as preventing the unauthorized disclosure of the company’s most sensitive data. The service team is responsible for both the Insider Threat program and Data Loss Prevention program to increase our security posture against data loss. As a Data Protection Analyst, you will play a critical role within Ford's Cyber Security Data Protection team, helping safeguard the company's most sensitive data against unauthorized disclosure, modification, or loss. You will serve as a key partner across business and technical stakeholders—triaging and remediating DLP alerts, and delivering operational metric reporting to strengthen the organization's security posture. This position offers an excellent opportunity to act as a DLP subject matter expert, drive process improvements, while collaborating with multicultural, cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented cybersecurity professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, working knowledge of query languages, and a passion for leveraging tools like Microsoft Purview, Sentinel, and Defender to protect Enterprise data.
