Who we are looking for State Street is seeking a Business Analyst to join the eFX Technology team within Global Technology Services (GTS). The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams and quality assurance teams to deliver enhancements and strategic initiatives across State Street's electronic foreign exchange (eFX) platforms. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions. --- Why this role is important to us The eFX platform is a critical component of State Street Markets, supporting electronic trading, pricing, liquidity management and client execution services globally. This role provides an opportunity to work directly with front-office users and technology teams to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency and support the delivery of strategic eFX initiatives. --- What you will be responsible for As Business Analyst, you will: Gather, analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories. Collaborate with product owners, developers and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Support Agile delivery processes including backlog refinement, sprint planning and requirement prioritization. Create process flows, use cases and business documentation. Assist with impact assessments and solution design discussions. Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Investigate production issues and support root cause analysis activities. Work with business and technology teams to ensure successful implementation of new functionality. Support regulatory, risk management and operational initiatives as required. Contribute to continuous process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. --- What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. --- Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline. 3-7 years of Business Analysis experience in Financial Services or Capital Markets. Experience working with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of business analysis techniques and documentation standards. Strong SQL and data analysis skills preferred. Understanding of electronic trading or capital markets is preferred. Experience supporting FX, eFX or Front Office trading platforms is a plus. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and SDLC processes.
