Job Summary
The Specialist, Master Data is responsible to support various SAP domains. This position requires focus on data quality and data cleansing with a good understanding of production-related master data. This position will also help support data governance standards and processes to maintain the highest data quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the master data governance team regarding implementation of new rules specific to site rollouts and support routine data governance activities like mass maintenance and new data definitions. Lead setting up master data specific to the site on BOMs / Routes / work centers, pack spec and other production and EWM related master data. Identify and surface risks and issues. Ability to support stakeholder community to resolve issues and define risk mitigations. Act as first level POC for these issues In collaboration with team members, support in developing standards, guidelines, and processes to consistently address master data issues such as data standards and data synchronization. Implement and lead the build phase of data profiling, cleansing and transformation. Provision of medium and some complex cleansing rules where required / perform unit testing in tool. Support various global data migration projects initiated by stakeholders across West. Support end users in maintaining and managing master data in decentralized structure. #LI-Hybrid #LI-SM Additional Responsibilities
Education
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree Computer Science degree or equivalent experience Required required Work Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Master Data required Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understanding of SAP business processes in the areas of Production and EWM. Understanding of various tools to support and perform mass data changes on an as need basis. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook). Ability to abstract issues in a logical, structured way. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels in the organization. Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude. Detail oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced and complex environment with a sense of urgency. Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization. Ability to comply with quality and safety policies License and Certifications
Travel Requirements
10%: Up to 26 business days per year Physical Requirements
