Work Flexibility: Hybrid Associate Sourcing Manager     Who we want-    Collaborative partners.  People who build and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, data, and insights to drive continuous improvement in functions.   Motivated product launchers.  People who bring strategic direction and drive for execution to ensure products are developed and launched with precision.   Dedicated achievers.  People who thrive in a fast-paced environment and will stop at nothing to ensure a project is complete and meets regulations and expectations.     What you will do-   The Associate Sourcing Manager will lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing activities in assigned suppliers and/or commodities with the goal of obtaining the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management.      The Associate Sourcing Manager will be responsible for coordinating sourcing needs for new product development projects, including completion of supplier selection with agreement to Global Sourcing Strategy, regularly reporting material costs, managing schedules, and defining final material logistics.  Acts as liaison for all sourcing activities to Design and Advanced Operations teams.     Additional responsibilities:   Ensure project teams adhere to strategic direction of Global Sourcing and purchasing controls requirements related to design projects   Leverage improvements to project timelines from experience w/ key suppliers and project teams   Preliminary influence on key project team members to inspire quicker overall deliverables for projects   Negotiate supplier cost reductions and NRE reductions in conjunction w/ commodities teams when cost increases experienced   Drives key efficiencies w/ suppliers and communication tools support faster & more product launches   Identify process improvements to either supplier or Stryker processes to drive better speed to market, quality, and long-term delivery   May support more projects or projects that expand across multiple business units   Builds engaging relationship with variety of R&D engineering teams   Builds relationships within Operations by becoming a value-added and sought-after resource   Builds relationships across Global Sourcing Group   Lead sourcing analysis and selection process and perform cost analyses and make versus buy analyses as required   Identify supply base risk and develop/implement mitigation plans for new products.     What you need-   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or similar is required    Master’s Degree or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is preferred   6+ years of work experience required    3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and supplier development – Highly preferred   Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services required    Knowledge and application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms,  and contract administration required    Working knowledge of ISO13485 standards and requirements preferred   Project Management experience and solid understanding of project management tools preferred   Manufacturing management, manufacturing engineering, buying, production planning or new product development experience is preferred        Ireland Pay Ranges: Ireland : €59,000 - €100,000 EUR Annual      At Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step.
