The Financial Services Representative Processing Money Out NIGO processes retirement distribution transactions, ensuring requests are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with plan and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Review, validate, and process retirement distribution requests, including lump sum payments, rollovers, systematic distributions, RMDs, and external transfers. Utilize multiple systems to manage transactional workflows, enter and track information, and maintain accurate records. Communicate with participants and plan sponsors to resolve issues, obtain required documentation, and meet established quality and productivity standards. The preferred candidate must reside within a 35-mile radius of the following locations: Three Nationwide Plaza, Columbus OH 43215 18700 North Hayden Rd, Scottsdale AZ 85255 Hybrid work schedule: For candidates in Columbus OH Work schedule will fall between the business unit hours of 8:30 AM – 8 PM EST and may require flexibility. Required in office day is Wednesday and second in office day will be Tuesday or Thursday For candidates in Scottsdale, AZ Work schedule will fall between business unit ours of 8:30 AM – 8 PM EST and may require flexibility. Required in office days are Thursday and Friday. This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.

Key Responsibilities: Processes business requests according to government regulations, contract provisions and internal procedures and controls. Adheres to high standards of professional conduct consistent with the delivery of excellent customer service. Provides outstanding quality customer service by demonstrating and understanding customer needs and emphasizing timely responses. Maintains current knowledge of contract and product provisions, administration of Nationwide products, processing systems and related federal and state regulations. Integrates lean methodology into daily interactions through problem-solving meetings and team huddles. Consults and interprets contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business for policyholders, agents/brokers and other operating units. Includes understanding topics that require insurance or securities license and registration and understands when and how to route those inquiries to the properly registered representative. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Reporting Relationships: Reports to Operations Division Manager or Service Team Unit Manager. Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education
High school studies. Undergraduate studies desirable. Participation in technical coursework such as LOMA, CLU, ChFC desirable. License/Certification/Designation: FINRA Series 6 license preferred, and may be required, based on assigned product/line-of-business or distribution system.
