Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation: To ensure profitable market share and net sales growth within Franchisees in Key Markets while respecting the image of the adidas Group brands. To passionately lead the West & East Franchise Sales organisation in identifying, developing and implementing strategies in accordance with the adidas vision, objectives and mission for the profitable growth with key Partners in our Countries. Key Responsibilities:
To ensure the best possible Net Sales result by setting clear targets and action points;constant tracking of results; analysis of risks & new business opportunities Build & develop the right Team to attain financial objectives and your Channels Targets To ensure the Franchise organization is applying available adidas Group standards and best practices in daily work Creating clear Financial Targets and KPI’s for Franchise Partners to aim towards Communicate the Monthly Financial Performances of each Country / Partner to the Business To guide, direct and form Seasonal Buys per season for the Franchise Partners to consider and sign off To make and coordinate regular customer visits and reports when necessary To find, direct and support new Partners in regions who has high potential and evaluates the applications appropriate to each channel To give field consultancy and training support about “perfect retailing” (sales performance, inventory / stock levels , service quality, marketing, OMNI support etc.) in order to improve the commercial performance of your Partner To support negotiation and enforcement of adidas Group trade terms To lead team and foster performance culture within the team To manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines To ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports along all interfaces To measure progress on defined KPIs To monitor and report on customers and competitors sell-through and activities, and propose/initiate/take actions To provide realistic plans and forecasts on Key Partner performances To ensure customer compliance with agreements and trade terms
Direct/Guide customer purchases during seasonal Sell-in Week ensures that the purchase orders are taken in line with the determined objectives Ensures that sales are finalized according to the “sales conditions” set forth for the sales period Follows continuously the attainment of sales objectives of the customers in his/her region and interferes the process if necessary Involvement in preparation of FR’s product purchase together with Partners Merchandising Manager Develop tactics to improve retail KPI’s of FR’s to increase efficiency and SQM performance In coordination with Store Development department, suggesting new store potentials to upper management with required feasibility analysis To collect and manage all necessary documentation in line with global audit standards Close relationship with Global and EM FR operations Guide, Monitor, and Manage Talent across the Franchise Portfolio internally
Requisite Education and Experience
University degree in business with marketing and sales focus 10 - 14 years of sales experience within large sales organisations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG of which min 6 years in Sales At least 4 years’ experience of people and operational management Exposure: Sports, Marketing, Franchise Logistics, Supply Chain IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills, EXCEL and Power BI Advanced level (reading, writing, speaking) in English
