Northrop Grumman's Corporate Office has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager 3 to join our Human Resources (HR) team in Sunnyvale, California .  The selected candidate will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role collaborating with site functional teams and provide direct/indirect leadership to HR professionals. The selected candidate will possess depth and breadth of knowledge across HR functions to include, talent management, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, compensation, talent acquisition and employee relations.  Strong project management experience is essential; demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities and projects utilizing cross-functional teams and influencing with and without authority; demonstrated skills in various organization effectiveness capabilities including and not limited to change management, talent management and group facilitation.

Responsibilities

Establish strong business relationships with assigned client leadership teams and create effective partnerships across HR and centers of excellence (COE’s) Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and develop solutions in partnership with HR business partners, leaders, and COEs Use data and analytics to develop solutions for current business issues Provide business insight through data analysis, research and benchmarking Recommend and implement winning practices employed in the areas of talent acquisition, assessment, development, compensation, organizational effectiveness, strategy, on-boarding, change management and communications Analyze and concisely present information to the leaders and employees to enable good business decisions Partner with sector HR Business Partners to identify, develop and execute talent strategies with impacts at the Corporate and Sector levels Leverage and partner with HR colleagues in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, diversity, equity, and inclusion and organizational effectiveness to support talent strategies Provide day-to-day people leadership to the team and create an environment that accelerates development of HR talent Role model leadership behaviors and company values Leadership Development—focused on strong succession planning and strategic leadership movement. Partner with enterprise-wide functional leaders to build leadership depth to support the succession planning process. Support and enable leaders to make informed decisions about talent and to hold their organizations accountable for results This position has significant senior leadership contact and requires a candidate with strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, ambiguous and continually changing environment Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience OR Master’s degree in HR or related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience
